July 2005

Hope all of you had a great 4th of July.

Looks like here in Central IL the corn is growing strong and tall, and as the old saying here in corn country is to be "knee high by the fourth of July." I think we should change that saying to "it’s past eye ball high by the fourth of July." Well anyway how’s things in your area? If you have something happening in your part of the country and would like to share it with others, drop us an e-mail and we will put it on our monthly mailer. 

I must say I went on a 5-day trip, and that included a tour of Graceland, Elvis Presley's home in Memphis. I was not really interested in the tour at first, but I must say that after finishing the tour I really enjoyed it, and have a different attitude about Elvis. So if you’re in the area, take the full tour, you will really enjoy it. There is a campground across the street from his home, if I had the number of the campground I’d include it, and if anyone knows which one I am talking about please e-mail me so other customers can contact them.  Can someone let me know when they have Elvis Pressley week in Memphis?  That is another great time. Let me know and I’ll try to put it in August monthly mail if it has not already been sent.
