Best Ever Meat Loaf

• 1 can cream of mushroom soup
• 2 lbs ground beef
• 1/2 c. Fine dry bread crumbs
• 1/3 c. Finely chopped onion
• 1 egg, slightly beaten
• 1 t. Salt
• 1/3 c. Water

Mix thoroughly 1/2 c. Soup , beef , bread cumbs, onion, egg and salt. Shape firmly into loaf (8x4) place in shallow baking pan.

Bake at 375 for 1 hr. & 15 mins. Now blend rest of soup, water & 2-3 t. of drippings from baked loaf. Heat & stir often. Serve with loaf

Sue's note: Make it speical by frosting it with mashed potatoes, then sprinkle with cheddar cheese. Bake 15 mins more.
