Basic Fruit Pies
- Bread
- Can of Any Fruit Pie Filling, Cherry, Apple, Blueberry,
etc.
Directions:
Butter a slice of bread and lay the butter side down on the pie iron.
Spoon pie filling on top of unbuttered side of
bread. Don't put in too much, it will squirt out! Generously butter
another slice of bread, placing the unbuttered side on the
fruit filling. Close the iron, place in coals of fire for few minutes
on each side. Check often to see that it doesn't burn.
Whalah!!! you have a hot fresh fruit pie!
Hint:You can also make these with peanut butter & jelly. Fabulous!
